Privacy Policy
This policy describes how PAINKILLERKIDS collects, uses and protects the personal data of users and customers of painkillerkids.com, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
1. Data controller
The data controller is PAINKILLERKIDS, a micro-enterprise registered with the Melun Registry. Any question about your data can be sent to contact@painkillerkids.com.
2. Data collected
PAINKILLERKIDS only collects the data needed to process orders, manage customer relations and share news about Drops: identity, postal and email contact details, order history, and browsing data (cookies, audience statistics).
3. Purposes of processing
- Processing and tracking orders, invoicing and delivery;
- Managing customer relations and after-sales service;
- Sending information about upcoming Drops, upon voluntary newsletter sign-up;
- Producing audience statistics and improving the Site.
4. Tools used
The Site runs entirely on Shopify infrastructure: Shopify Payments for payment processing, Shopify Email for communications and the newsletter, and Shopify Analytics for traffic statistics. These providers act as processors within the meaning of the GDPR and apply their own security measures.
5. Retention periods
- Customer and order data: kept for 5 years from the end of the business relationship, as proof of purchase and to meet tax and accounting obligations;
- Prospect and newsletter subscriber data: kept for a maximum of 3 years from the last active contact;
- Cookies and audience measurement data (Shopify Analytics): kept for a maximum of 13 months.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase (right to be forgotten) your personal data, and to restrict or object to its processing. You can exercise these rights at any time by emailing contact@painkillerkids.com. We will reply as quickly as possible and within the legal time limits.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés), the competent supervisory authority in France.
7. Security
PAINKILLERKIDS and its providers (Shopify Inc.) implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the personal data processed.
8. Cookies
The Site uses cookies required for it to work, as well as audience measurement cookies (Shopify Analytics). You can set your browser to refuse non-essential cookies at any time, and change your choice through the cookie banner.
